Auxiliary verbs

Auxiliary verbs are known as ‘helping verbs’.

The auxiliary verb is followed by a another verb in a sentence/question.

 

There are three types of auxiliary verbs and within them they have different

forms:


Be- am/is/are

Do/does/did

Have/has/had
