The male part of the flower is called the stamen, the stamen has two parts
the anther and the filament. The anther is the part that produces the male
sex cells known as the pollen grains.
The female part of a plant is called a pistil. The pistils made up of three
components; stigma, style and ovary. The ovary produces the female sex
cells. And the stigma is the part of the plant that collects the pollen grain.
