Take a look at these examples of informal letters below. On each example

there are some mistakes. Identify them and then write out how they should

be corrected. An example is given in the table.

Receivers addressYou do not need to include the receiver’s address, they know where they live and it will already be on the envelope.
Formal sign off“Yours faithfully” is too formal, instead use something like “love
from” “see you soon”

Formal salutationIf you are writing to your grandma then say “Dear
Grandma” not “Dear Mrs Smith”
Inconsistent paragraphsIt should be extra line or indentation not both.
